Dive into a journey of untamed waters and maternal depths, enjoy toe tapping original live music, join in the audience sing along with wild abandon!

Following a hugely successful tour of Mother’s Ruin, a cabaret about motherhood and gin, Jenni Winter is back at the piano, dazzling and delighting us with her original songs, sharp wit, and fancy finger work.

This time it’s too early for gin. In fact, it’s too early for most things. It’s sunrise. It’s The Sea. The Mothership. The Call of the Wild.

A toe tapping, moving and uplifting exploration of what it means to lose your youth, but find the sea. To watch the sunrise while dancing in the waves. To share an experience and make friends for life (there’s no going back once you’ve  seen each other wriggling out of a bathing suit in the cold, dark drizzle).  And to be viewed with suspicion by anyone who likes a lie in or has really considered the temperature of the North Sea.

With Jenni’s magical blend of original songs, live music, story telling and just a hint of audience participation, imagine you are in Whitley Bay, the place where her Sea Swimming journey all began…

Put on your dancing shoes (DryRobe/swimming cap/bikini) and join us for a joyful evening  of celebration, at La Mère.
